Gold Coin Announces New Executive Leadership Structure and Senior Management Promotions

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. — Sept. 16, 2026 — Gold Coin Laundry Equipment, a leading distributor of commercial laundry equipment and related products and services, today announced a new executive leadership structure designed to support the company’s continued growth, strengthen its management team and expand new business development efforts.

As part of the restructuring, Douglas Pratt, currently president of Gold Coin, will assume the title of president and chief executive officer. Pratt will continue to lead the company while placing increased emphasis on long-term strategy, key customer and manufacturer relationships, and future growth opportunities.

Gold Coin will also promote Michelle Pratt to chief operating officer and general manager.  In the newly expanded role, Pratt will work closely with Douglas Pratt and assume increasing responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations and coordination among its various departments.

“This new structure reflects both how much Gold Coin has grown and where we want to take the company in the future,” Douglas Pratt said. “We have an experienced group of people who understand our customers, our industry and our business. These promotions recognize their contributions while giving them greater responsibility for helping lead the company going forward.”

Hoffman will have overall responsibility for Gold Coin’s equipment sales organization, including sales planning, customer relationships, sales performance and the continued development and expansion of the company’s sales team.

Brandon Hoffman — Vice President, New Business Development
Hoffman will take on an expanded role focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities, with particular emphasis on multi-store laundry operators, major prospective customers, competitive accounts and other opportunities to expand Gold Coin’s customer base. “As we grow, I want to make sure we retain the responsiveness and industry knowledge our customers expect from us,” Pratt said. “At the same time, we need a management structure that allows us to pursue new opportunities and continue building the company for the future.
